Requirements

• 1.Valid Afghan passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond intended stay)
• 2.Completed visa application form (e.g., Visitor visa subclass 600)
• 3.Recent passport-sized photographs
• 4.Proof of sufficient funds to support stay (bank statements, pay slips, etc.)
• 5.Evidence of genuine intention to visit (e.g., return flight tickets, accommodation bookings, itinerary)
• 6.Proof of strong ties to Afghanistan (e.g., employment letter, property ownership, family commitments) to demonstrate intent to return
• 7.Health examination (if required, based on duration of stay or activities)
• 8.Character requirements (police clearance certificates may be required)
• 9.Family composition information (e.g., marriage certificate, birth certificates of dependents)
• 10.Invitation letter (if visiting family/friends in Australia)
• 11.Any other documents requested by the Department of Home Affairs
