Requirements

• 1.Valid Afghan passport with at least 6 months validity beyond intended stay
• 2.Completed visa application form (online via ImmiAccount)
• 3.Recent passport-sized photograph
• 4.Proof of sufficient funds to cover stay (bank statements, pay slips, employment letter)
• 5.Travel itinerary and confirmed return/onward ticket
• 6.Proof of accommodation (hotel bookings, invitation letter from host)
• 7.Invitation letter (if visiting family/friends, including host's Australian visa/citizenship details)
• 8.Employment letter or business registration (if self-employed)
• 9.Proof of strong ties to Afghanistan (property ownership, family responsibilities) to demonstrate intent to return
• 10.Medical examination (if required, based on duration of stay or health conditions)
• 11.Police clearance certificate (if required, based on duration of stay)
• 12.Birth certificate, marriage certificate (if applicable)
• 13.Educational documents (if applicable)
• 14.Any other documents requested by the Department of Home Affairs to assess genuine temporary entrant criteria
