Albanian citizens can travel visa-free to Belgium and other Schengen countries for short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This visa-free entry is for tourism, business, or family visits, not for employment or long-term study. Ensure your passport meets the validity requirements. While not always checked, having proof of funds, accommodation, and onward travel can prevent issues at the border. ETIAS will become a requirement for visa-exempt non-EU nationals, including Albanians, to enter the Schengen Area, likely starting in mid-2025. Travelers will need to apply for an ETIAS authorization online before their trip.
