Important Notes

All tourists (except for citizens of India) must book their trip through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator or one of their international partners. The visa application is processed by the tour operator after the full payment for the tour package has been received. The visa approval letter is issued before travel, and the actual visa stamp is placed upon arrival at Paro International Airport (or other entry points). The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) is USD 100 per person per night for most nationalities, including Madagascar.
