German citizens can enter the Dominican Republic visa-free for tourism purposes for a stay of up to 30 days. An extension can be requested locally for a fee. All travelers must complete an electronic entry and exit form (E-Ticket) before arrival and departure, which combines the customs declaration, international embarkation/disembarkation card, and health affidavit. There is a US$10 tourist card fee included in the airfare for most flights, so it's usually not paid separately upon arrival.
