Requirements

  • 1.Passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in India, with at least two blank pages.
  • 2.Recent front-facing photograph with a white background (JPEG format, 10KB to 1MB).
  • 3.Scanned copy of the passport bio page (PDF format, 10KB to 300KB).
  • 4.Return or onward ticket.
  • 5.Proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses during the stay in India.
  • 6.Completed online eVisa application form.

Important Notes

The eVisa for India allows a maximum stay of 90 days per visit, and the total stay in a calendar year should not exceed 180 days. The eVisa is valid for entry through 28 designated airports and 5 designated seaports. It is not extendable and not convertible. Applicants must apply online at least 4 days in advance of the date of arrival. The fee of $80 is for the 1-year multiple entry eVisa; other options (30-day, 5-year) may have different fees.
