Important Notes

Citizens of North Macedonia can travel visa-free to the Schengen Area (which includes the Netherlands) for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism, business, or family visits. This visa-free regime does not permit employment. Starting in mid-2025, North Macedonian citizens will need to apply for an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) authorization before traveling to the Schengen Area. ETIAS is not a visa but a pre-travel authorization. Until then, no ETIAS is required.
