Requirements

• 1.Valid passport (valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date from New Zealand)
• 2.Completed Visitor Visa application form (INZ 1017)
• 3.Two recent passport-sized photographs
• 4.Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay (e.g., bank statements, payslips, evidence of sponsorship) - typically NZD 1000 per month per person, or NZD 400 if accommodation is prepaid
• 5.Proof of onward travel (e.g., confirmed return ticket)
• 6.Evidence of strong ties to Afghanistan (e.g., employment, property ownership, family commitments) to demonstrate intent to return
• 7.Letter of invitation (if applicable)
• 8.Accommodation details for your stay in New Zealand
• 9.Medical certificate and/or chest X-ray (if staying longer than 12 months, or if from a country with a high incidence of TB, which includes Afghanistan)
• 10.Police certificate (if staying longer than 24 months, or if requested by immigration)
• 11.Visa application fee (NZD 150 as of current information, subject to change)
• 12.Proof of good character
