Entry to Palestine (West Bank) is controlled by Israel. North Macedonian citizens typically receive a visa-free entry stamp (usually for 90 days) upon arrival at Israeli border crossings (Ben Gurion Airport or land crossings). This stamp allows travel within Israel and the Palestinian territories (West Bank). Entry to the Gaza Strip is highly restricted and generally not possible for tourists. While technically visa-free, Israeli border control has the final say on entry, and security checks can be extensive. Travelers may be questioned about their purpose of visit, especially if they state their primary destination is Palestine. It is advisable to state your destination as Israel and then travel to the West Bank. Access to certain areas within the West Bank may be restricted by Israeli checkpoints.
