Requirements

• 1.Valid passport (at least 3 months beyond intended departure date from Schengen area, issued within the last 10 years, with at least two blank pages)
• 2.Schengen Visa Application Form (duly completed and signed)
• 3.Two recent passport-sized photographs (in color, white background, 3.5x4.5 cm)
• 4.Travel medical insurance (minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical emergencies, hospitalization, and repatriation, valid throughout the Schengen Area)
• 5.Proof of accommodation (hotel bookings, invitation letter from host in Portugal)
• 6.Proof of sufficient financial means (bank statements for the last 3-6 months, salary slips, sponsorship letter if applicable)
• 7.Flight itinerary (round-trip reservation)
• 8.Proof of employment/student status/business (employment letter, student ID, business registration documents)
• 9.Purpose of travel (e.g., tourism, business, visiting family/friends)
• 10.Civil status documents (marriage certificate, birth certificates of children, if applicable)
• 11.Previous Schengen visas (if any)
• 12.Letter of invitation (if visiting family/friends, certified by a notary or local authority in Portugal)
• 13.Exit permit from Afghanistan (if required by Afghan authorities)
