Important Notes

Citizens of North Macedonia can travel to Portugal and other Schengen Area countries for tourism or business purposes for up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. This period starts from the date of first entry into any Schengen country. ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) will become a requirement for visa-exempt non-EU nationals, including those from North Macedonia, to enter most European countries. This is expected to be implemented in mid-2025. Once ETIAS is active, an authorization will be required prior to travel.
