Requirements

• 1.Valid passport (valid for at least 30 days after the intended date of departure from South Africa, with at least two unused pages for endorsements)
• 2.Duly completed application form (DHA-84)
• 3.Two passport-sized photographs
• 4.Proof of financial means to cover living expenses during the stay (e.g., bank statements, salary slips)
• 5.Proof of accommodation in South Africa (e.g., hotel bookings, letter from host)
• 6.Return or onward travel ticket
• 7.Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (if traveling from or transiting through a Yellow Fever endemic area)
• 8.Letter of invitation (if visiting friends/relatives)
• 9.Proof of employment or student status (if applicable)
• 10.Marriage certificate (if applicable)
• 11.Birth certificates of accompanying minor children (if applicable)
• 12.Visa application fee (amount varies by location of application and exchange rate)
• 13.Additional documents may be requested by the South African High Commission/Embassy
