Important Notes

The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is mandatory for all foreign nationals visiting Sri Lanka, including those from Madagascar. It can be obtained online before travel. While the ETA is usually processed within 24 hours, it's advisable to apply a few days in advance. The ETA allows for a stay of up to 30 days, with the possibility of extension in Sri Lanka. The cost is for a tourist ETA for 30 days (double entry).
