Due to the ongoing conflict and political instability in Sudan, travel is highly discouraged. Visa processing and entry requirements can change rapidly and without notice. It is extremely difficult to obtain a visa for Sudan at this time, and travel is considered very dangerous. Direct communication with the nearest Sudanese embassy or consulate is essential, but even then, information may be uncertain or subject to last-minute changes. Many embassies may not be processing visas or may have ceased operations. The difficulty is marked as 'hard' due to the severe instability and uncertainty of visa issuance and travel safety.
