Important Notes

Albanian citizens can travel to Switzerland (Schengen Area) for tourism, business, or family visits for up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. This visa-free entry does not grant the right to work. Ensure your passport meets the validity requirements. ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) will be required for visa-exempt non-EU nationals, including Albanian citizens, for short stays in the Schengen Area, once it becomes operational (expected in mid-2025). Travelers will need to apply for an ETIAS authorization online before their trip. The fee for ETIAS is expected to be 7 EUR.
