Important Notes

Albanian citizens can enter the Schengen Area (including Germany) visa-free for short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This visa-free status is for tourism, business, or family visits, and does not permit employment or long-term study. ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) will be required for visa-free travelers to the Schengen Area starting from mid-2025. Once ETIAS is implemented, travelers will need to apply online for an authorization prior to their trip.
