Important Notes

Albanian citizens are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) and must apply for a B1/B2 (visitor) visa for tourism or business purposes. The processing time can vary significantly based on interview availability and administrative processing. While a B1/B2 visa is typically valid for 10 years, the permitted stay duration (usually up to 6 months) is determined by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer upon arrival. The difficulty is marked as 'hard' due to the comprehensive application process, mandatory interview, and the need to demonstrate strong ties to Albania to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent.
