Important Notes

Iranian citizens require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to enter Canada. Due to the lack of direct diplomatic relations, applications are processed through Canadian Embassies/Consulates in neighboring countries (e.g., Turkey, UAE). Processing times can be lengthy and vary significantly. The visa fee is 100 CAD (approximately 73 USD) for a single entry or multiple entry visa, plus an 85 CAD (approximately 62 USD) biometrics fee. The validity of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration officer, often aligning with the passport's validity or the intended duration of stay. High refusal rates are common for applicants from Iran.
