Important Notes

All Nigerian citizens require a visa to enter the United States. The most common non-immigrant visas for tourism/business are B1/B2. The processing time can vary significantly based on interview availability and administrative processing. It is highly recommended to apply well in advance of your intended travel date. Visa validity and allowed duration of stay are determined by the Consular Officer during the interview and will be stamped on the visa. The difficulty is marked as 'hard' due to the comprehensive application process, required interview, and high refusal rates for some categories, particularly for first-time applicants from Nigeria.
